Marios Papaprodromou
At a young age, Marios was challenged with leukemia and proved to be a true fighter; an experience that created an extra special character. Marios’ outstanding traits, other than the next upcoming ‘baker’ chef, is being caring and willing to give back in any way possible – hence the conceptualisation of PhiloTimo Cookies, and that all proceeds be forwarded to research fighting childhood cancer.
He wants to send a strong message to children facing the same challenges that he went through and won: that they, too, can overcome their struggles.
Bake a Difference, Make a Difference
Marios, together with Demetris, Lefki and Thanasis Papaprodromou, founded PhiloTimo Cookies for kids fighting cancer in 2022. Marios had the brilliant idea to bake and sell cookies, in order to be able to raise money and help research for childhood cancer. The startup of this venture, its scope and its vision is initially privately financed by the founders.
